Capturing the allure in what may seem ordinary to many. Nel is inspired by the day-to-day life of individuals. She is drawn to daily life aesthetics and wants to share the untold stories, little moments and emotions she sees through her lenses. Her current series of photos are inspired by the intricacies of Asian culture. She wanted to capture the unique characters and the old-world charm that rural cities bring before urbanisation.
Aside from her love of street photography, she enjoys taking photos during events, capturing the best moments and people's enthusiasm. Working in the music industry full time, Nel is currently working at NME Networks where she has the pleasure of working with different artists and label companies.
Alongside photography, Nel is a designer and social media specialist. She has worked across various sectors and designs from advertising, branding and social media content creator. Content creation has always been at the heart of what she does.
